I really do want to love this top coat; it looks gorgeous when it applies smoothly, and it holds up for quite a while. Unfortunately, it quickly goes from a glass-clear dream to a stringy, goopy mess.
The first time I bought this top coat was my very first nail polish order off Amazon, and I absolutely adored how easily it applied and how nice the final touch was. However, a bit afterward I noticed that there were quickly strings forming whenever I brought the brush out of the bottle, and the top coat refused to spread nearly as nicely as it did at first.
I bought Glass Candy the second time directly off ILNP, and once again it started out as gorgeous and easy to apply. Again, it quickly devolved into a mess that makes applying a top coat an ordeal rather than a joy- a far cry from all other ILNP polishes I have that are so smooth to apply.
If Glass Candy could stay in that honeymoon phase whenever I buy a bottle, I would use it forever! Unfortunately, it just doesn't hold up over time, and I have to find another top coat to pair with my other polishes.
