Indoor/Outdoor/Everywhere/All-season
I adore this polish; I only select polish colors that I think will look good with my regular indoor light settings (EVERY ilnp polish will score 10 extra brownie points when you let the sun get ahold of it...) ---- and Uptown absolutely accomplishes this. I had previously purchased *Hayride* because I was looking for a lighter golden-ish polish, maybe a little buttery (?), and review photos for Hayride had me thinking I'd found my match. It was much more "metal-y golden" than I liked. (I don't think ILNP is capable of making a "bad" color polish, so Hayride is still a worthy choice)
___________ However, Uptown ended up being the perfect shade for the category I was thinking to fill; it reminds me of butterscotch mixed with a well-rounded caramel. :-) So yeah, I adore it. I wear whatever color I'm in the mood for regardless of the season, so if you feel like a great Indoor/Outdoor/Everywhere/All-season ILNP polish --- you could consider this one. (and yeah, I looked online for a photo that my eyes best saw had correlating color-vibes, and the salted butterscotch stuff felt right. lol)

This shade did not disappoint, it’s a beautiful burnt orange with tons of sparkle.
Burnt orange
Very pretty burnt orange color. Some oranges can be too bright or neon but this one is a gorgeous sophisticated orange with sparkle!
Fading sunset orange
Uptown is a muted, sophisticated take on your typical orange polish. It doesn't scream pumpkin or persimmon. Instead it gently whispers of falling leaves fading into the sunset. The holo effect is beautiful but not overly distracting. Definitely a polish on the quiet side of cool.
