First time
This was the first thing I ever put in my cart from ILNP and they definitely did not disappoint. The base coat went on smoothly and dried much faster than I anticipated. I really love the top coat though. Provided the perfect glossy finish and again dried very quickly. It also didn’t “pick up” the color like I’ve noticed a lot of top coats do. These were a great addition to my collection and really made my manicure pop.

They belong together. Holds their polish well and the top shine is adequate. I’d buy this again.

not my favorite top coat, but my all time favorite base
i think this is a solid duo if you're looking to get a base/top coat combo from the same place. they both work great with other brands of polish.
lockup definitely lives up to its name. it's the best base coat i've tried thus far. it dries fast, and i can usually get about a week of wear time, but sometimes even longer depending on the formula/finish of the nail polish i use! it also works great as a sticky base for stamping, and i prefer this over a dedicated stamping base coat. i will note that it DOES contain PVB, which doesn't play well with some people's nails/body chemistry.
glass candy is not my favorite top coat due to the fact that it seems to be prone to drying with air bubbles no matter how i apply it, but that's not always an issue if i'm wearing formulas like flakies that distract from them. it's also prone to thickening and getting kind of stringy, but with a little bit of toluene free polish thinner, that issue is easily resolved. dry time is slightly longer than the dry time of my favorite top coat, but it doesn't make a huge difference if i'm not planning on doing things with my hands for a while after application.
overall, for a duo, i think $20 is a fair price, especially with how much i love lockup as a base coat!
