Back to School Nail Art
She's very fun! I don't see a TON of uses for it, but I will be using it for a back-to-school themed nail art design even though I, for the first time, will not be going back to school. Not sure how I feel about that.
Exactly what I've been looking for
I've been trying to dupe this obscure Lyn B polish (Trend Sweater) that is out of production. The second I saw Building Blocks I knew this would be the closest match I've found yet.
This is a tricky polish to photograph. It looks more yellow in some pics (including some of the product pics). The swatches in Polished Yogi and Kelli Marissa videos are pretty good.
This is a very pale, delicate apricot-y pinky-beige. The flakies are very subtle and delicate. The formula is creamy and opaque, easy to work with. This is three coats.
I love this color on me. I have fair olive skin with golden peachy overtones, cool undertones and high saturation (bright winter). It's tricky to find nudes / beiges as a fair olive and this fits the bill.
Note that part of my swatch finger has a little pink tint, my top coat picked up some of the color from the hot pink nail, so ignore that. Shown here in various lighting with ILNP pink slush, malibu, and sorbet. Swatch sticks are ILNP bare (L), Building Blocks (M), and Lyn B Trend Sweater (R).
I would LOVE to see this color in other formulas.
