Who would’ve thought you could wear the remnants of a supernova on your fingertips? Cygnus Loop is a stunner of a polish that may just blow your mind right into another galaxy.
Depending on the light and angle of your lovely fingertips, Cygnus Loop will shuffle through a bright purple, to orange, to yellow, and even a little bit of green. Woah!
Cygnus Loop is part of ILNP’s Ultra Chrome® class of chromatic nail polishes; formulated to apply directly to the nail without the need for a base color.

Another great chrome

Jury still out
I want to like this one so much. But I think the starting blue, and what I see the most, is just... off.. for me. I have Hush on the way and hope it'll be the right one, because I just love how these chromes shift.
Love ILNP ultrachromes!
I do agree with another reviewer that I don’t get a lot of shift with this particular polish unless at extreme angles, and I also think that having less curved nails (at least less curved than the ones in the swatch pics) may be the issue. Formula isn’t super opaque, but builds nicely in three coats, so opacity shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re working in super thin coats or aren’t being mindful of the heaviness of your brushstrokes.
First chrome, won't be my last
Didn't know you could do this kind of pigment sorcery with nail polish. Crazy cool.
