Great base coat
Helps extend wear of polish.
Damaging to my nail type
I want to love this base coat so bad but it just doesn’t work with my nail type (hydration sensitive). It does hold onto polish quite well, but makes my nails peel.
Love it
Very happy with this thin but effective base coat. Dries fast, flat, and matte, and seals defects fairly well.

copied from my review on the glass candy + lockup bundle, as this is my second time purchasing lockup:
lockup definitely lives up to its name. it's the best base coat i've tried thus far. it dries fast, and i can usually get about a week of wear time, but sometimes even longer depending on the formula/finish of the nail polish i use! it also works great as a sticky base for stamping, and i prefer this over a dedicated stamping base coat. i will note that it DOES contain PVB, which doesn't play well with some people's nails/body chemistry.
