Fantastic collection,so gorgeous
Cosmos Collection
ILNP is only letting me review the whole set instead of color by color so this is just for Shooting Star.
I got the whole Cosmos collection on pre-order sale and after doing a quick swatch, chose Shooting Star as the first to do a full mani with. This is my first time using a magnetic nailpolish and omg I am in LOVE.
As someone else mentioned, the lighting used in photos is a little misleading - it really is a darker color both in the purple base and the metallic effect. But it's SO SO PRETTY. The base is definitely a jelly - it's a sheer blurple but I think that helps the magnetic segments stand out even better since it's both a change in color and change in 'texture' of the polish.
I'm new to magnetic polishes so I stuck with the standard diagonal stripe across my nail but I'm sure this will also look gorgeous once I figure out that 'brushed velvet' effect too. 10/10 highly recommend.
Based on my swatches, I'm really excited to also try Deep Space and Moondust. I was not particularly impressed with Comet or Orbit, which is why I gave the whole set a 3/5 value, since I don't like all the polishes equally. I messed up my swatch of Dark Matter so I can't comment on it. All the polishes have a really nice feel as far as formula goes, but that's a given with ILNP.
