Blueberries on my fingertips :-)
___ I'd been in the mood for a navy blue for a hot minute and I'd been trying to figure out which ILNP blue would satisfy my itch. There was a photo a girl posted of her hands in her bathroom (??) in a review on here, and it helped me the most. I felt the color somehow looked the most realistic. So I ran with Better Days --- and lemme tell ya: I adore it (!!)
_____ but also, it's not quite the navy blue I was looking for. lol. I'm a little embarrassed it took my brain as long as it did to figure out what the color reminds me of, but it finally came to me tonight: fresh picked blueberries.
You know how they have the nuanced blue to them with the cloudy white sheen to them before they've been all washed up or whatever (?) That's what Better Days reminds me off: the blue is (i think) that "muted" kind of color that I see people review. It has a matte quality to it. Now I mentioned that white haze you see on blueberries not because you'll see that on this polish, but because it's what I think you'd get if you took a standard navy blue and added that "matte white haze" with it: you'd get Better Days. lol. It shines up just fine with a good top coat. :-)
But yeah. I already know which color I'm going to grab for the darker navy blue I wanted ('You Up?), but I'm very very very glad I got Better Days so I can blueberries all the time.

Blue, but dare I say it, a mature blue
This is a color that I thought looked nice in the bottle, but then looked even classier on my nails. It has just a touch of grey in the blue to make it grown-up.
