We’re updating our look!

You may notice things starting to look a little different in the coming days. We’ve taken on a brand new logo and soon, a refreshed and refined look.

ILNP is approaching its 10 year anniversary.

As we’ve been preparing to meet this huge milestone in our journey together with all of you, we couldn’t help but reflect on who we are and why we’re here today.

“I Love Nail Polish” is the simple yet meaningful statement of everything we stand for. It’s what’s brought us all together, it’s what defines us, and it’s the inspiration behind this brand refresh.

A bit of history

ILNP was born almost a decade ago from a small bedroom desk.

Our founder, Barbra, fell into a hobby of mixing together store bought nail polishes to try to achieve finishes and colors she couldn’t find anywhere else. This hobby soon led to a fascination (obsession) with sparkle, glitters, and toppers along with a small Etsy shop opened in 2012.

Handwritten labels were all she knew!

Our first look (2013 – 2015)

Barbra and her shop would soon find a place in a growing indie nail polish community where other people shared the same love for polish that she did.

As things started to get serious, ILNP upgraded from handwritten labels to a real logo and brand identity.

Our second look (2015 – 2022)

Our first logo served us well. The bright pink heart was playful, crafty, and inviting – something we wanted customers to see and really identify with. However, it was time to move on.

ILNP was in the early stages of growing into a premiere boutique nail polish brand, producing some of the most beautiful and unique polishes available today.

We felt that our logo and brand needed to grow with our vision so we upgraded our logo to the one most of you are familiar with; the tall and sleek lettering that still paid homage to our beginnings and our love of nail polish.

Our new look (2022 – ????)

Reflecting on who we are and looking to the future at who we want to be, we felt it was important to revisit how the world sees ILNP.

Our new logo (and its script companion) is the perfect representation of our playfulness and creativity while still remaining strong and distinctive. The bold lettering stands out and is easily recognizable, while the script adds a personal and timeless touch. Most excitingly, we brought back the heart in a modern and elegant way!

Our new logo represents who we’ve become while still cherishing the love for nail polish that started it all.

What’s next?

You’ll start to notice more and more changes as we continue to refine the brand and our commitment to nail polish.

We’ll be updating our packaging, our website, social media channels, and even revisiting our creative processes. We want to share more with our fans and invite them to help shape what we should be doing and designing next!

There are so many new things on the horizon for ILNP and we can’t wait to hear what you all think.
