Creamy
This is a great color. It's a creamy beige color. Almost like coffee run, but no sparkle. Very pretty on!
Amazing formula!
The Studio line has the most amazing creamy formula of any nail polish line I have ever tried! On me this color leans a bit more brown than taupe though.
Tale of Two Taupes
I love warm, earthy taupes (gray-brown) and find them so sophisticated, but there is some trial-and-error to finding the best one to complement skintone. Many taupes sold are cool - like Coffee Run - and have a lot of gray in then. Mushroom is warmer, slightly darker and has more red-brown undertones to it. I have olive skin on my hands and tend to go for warm and neutral shades.
Coffee Run (cool toned) looked greenish, like I stuck my finger in a used baby diaper. Mushroom (warm toned) looks earthy and flattering. Both are smooth applying cremes, but I highly recommend that you choose according to your skintone. The undertone mismatching can be very disappointing.
