Birefringence is a jaw droppingly beautiful polish that effortlessly stops people in their tracks. Planning on having a meaningful face-to-face conversation with a friend? Birefringence shifts through an array of incredible blues, purples, reds, oranges, yellows, and even subtle greens!
Birefringence is part of ILNP’s Ultra Chrome® class of chromatic nail polishes; formulated to apply directly to the nail without the need for a base color.

Neat polish
This polish is beautiful, fun, shifty. I got a few compliments. Acquired it because it’s obviously very popular. But unfortunately this formula did not work well with me. It only lasted a day before it was wearing and chipping.

My favourite polish.
I own a lot of polish. As in, over a 1000 bottles. Birefringence is my favourite. I love this colour. I love the shift, I love that you don’t need a black base to make it pop. I get the most compliments on my nails when I wear this. It’s a true stunner and I recommend it to everyone.
